Necklace length
Where does each length fall?
Necklace length is measured along the chain, not the drop of the pendant. Use this chart to picture the fit before you choose.
Choker14 - 16 in / 35 - 40 cmSits snugly at the base of the neck.
Princess17 - 19 in / 43 - 48 cmRests on the collarbone. A classic length for pendants.
Matinee20 - 24 in / 50 - 61 cmFalls just below the collarbone. Our long sets are 20 - 22 in.
Opera28 - 36 in / 70 - 90 cmFalls at or below the bust. Can be doubled for a layered look.
Styling
Style it your way
V-neck or deep neck
A long set with a pendant follows the neckline and draws the eye down.
Boat or high neck
Choose a longer necklace so the pendant rests clear of the neckline.
Saree
Pearl-and-bead strands with a temple pendant pair well with silk and cotton-silk borders.
Lehenga or suit
Wear the set with matching jhumkas and keep other jewellery minimal.
Care
Keep it beautiful
- Put jewellery on last, after perfume, hair spray and cosmetics.
- Take it off before bathing, swimming or exercise.
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear.
- Store each piece in its own soft pouch, away from damp and from other jewellery.
- Keep pearl strands flat or hanging, never tightly bent, to protect the thread.
Meaning
Why Goddess Lakshmi?
Goddess Lakshmi is associated with wealth, prosperity and good fortune, which is why her motif is a favourite in temple jewellery worn at weddings, festivals and puja. Our pendants carry her figure framed by floral and peacock patterns.
